Before purchasing Senstroke sensors, it is possible to test the latency of your smartphone or tablet.
This tip is very useful for owners of a smartphone under Android.
Indeed, the audio latency (time between the moment you hit a surface with the sensors and the moment the sound of the battery is produced) will be more or less strong when using Senstroke sensors.
This depends mainly on the brand and model of the Android smartphone or tablet used.
How to test the latency of my smartphone?
In order to guarantee you an optimal gaming experience, you can test your smartphone’s latency at any time.
To do this, you just need to download the Senstroke app, available on iOS and Android.

Then launch the Senstroke application.
A screen indicating your latency will be displayed.
Although it is possible to play with Senstroke with some latency, we do not recommend it to avoid degrading your experience with the sensors.
What should I do if my smartphone has too high a latency?
If you find that your smartphone has too much latency, and that it bothers you to play with the sensors, don’t panic: there are solutions.
Use an adapted smartphone
In order to make the best use of Senstroke sensors, it is recommended to use a smartphone running iOS.
The latter generally have a better latency management compared to their Android counterparts.
Nevertheless, more and more recent Android smartphones allow a good experience with Senstroke.
