Beginning of the year 2020 : Redison goes in the United States
Redison’s year began with a big kick-off: we were present at the NAMM Show 2020 and CES 2020, two of the world’s largest gatherings around music and new technologies.
The CES (Consumer Electronic Show) was the specialized trade show for new technologies.
Located in Las Vegas, this show was the perfect opportunity to showcase Senstroke. It was also the perfect opportunity to announce the development of Senspad, our second project, with a first glimpse of its design!
The NAMM Show is a recognized trade show in the music industry. All the major brands were present: Sabian, Zildjian, TAMA, DW, Yamaha, Ludwig…
We managed to stand out in the middle of these gigantic demonstration halls, with a passion for Senstroke confirmed by both amateur and professional drummers.
4 days of demonstrations and hundreds of smiles following Senstroke’s tests later, we returned to France with an even greater desire to continue perfecting the sensors!
Senstroke update 2.0
Our return to France focused on the release of the 2.0 update of the Senstroke application.
This is, to date, the biggest update of the Senstroke application since its release.
Many new features have been added to the app, including a completely new design, new screens and features, and the release of the application’s “Learning” mode.
This last feature is very much appreciated by our users, and is constantly being improved with new lessons.

Redison in lockdown
Just like most of the stores in the world, we had to adapt to the arrival of Covid-19 and its consequences: the first March lockdown.
We managed to adapt quickly to ensure the possibility for drummers to play at home with their Senstroke sensors: indeed, many people took advantage of their free time to try to play the drums in a different way, thanks to Senstroke for instance.
A radiant summer for Redison
The summer was good news for Redison: Senstroke sensors were increasingly present at international partners: Argos, Harrods, as well as the continuation of our partnerships with FNAC and Cultura.
The end of the year full of new things
We were looking forward to seeing you again at the end of the year: it had been more than 8 months since we had been able to do demonstrations in stores or at trade shows.
Yes, when you start to get used to public demonstrations, it’s hard to imagine that we wouldn’t be able to do any more for a while because of the health situation.
So we had to adapt: we launched our series of Senstroke “Mini Cover”: this allowed us to continue sharing the Senstroke experience around the world.
Faced with the obvious impossibility of launching a Redison Tour #2, we launched our first Facebook Live: the perfect opportunity to demonstrate Senstroke… remotely!
What about 2021?
We are already looking forward to the year 2021, hoping that the sanitary situation will be brighter!
Several projects are already being prepared in our offices.
Of course, we will continue to share content with you on a regular basis: “Mini Cover”, Full Covers, Facebook Live…
But also new things: a new video format will appear in early 2021, and a huge update in the App… I won’t tell you more for the moment!

The year 2020, so special, is coming to an end.
