Drummer of the Metal band Dagoba and independent drum teacher: here is the portrait of Nicolas Bastos, official Redison partner.
Nicolas Bastos is 38 years old, and has been playing drums professionally for more than 15 years now.
Drummer of the French metal band Dagoba since 2016, he has played on famous stages such as Hellfest or Download Festival.
Nicolas is also an independent drum teacher, demonstrator for big drum brands such as Yamaha or Paiste, and is a graduate of Drumtech London.
Elected “Teacher of the year” by Batterie Magazine in 2012, our ambassador is a regular of Masterlcass and was jury for the final of the Emergenza all-instrument contest.

The least we can say is that Nicolas has more than a trick up his sleeve: in addition to being a professional drummer in an international band, touring all over the world, our ambassador takes the time to share his knowledge and experience during his Masterclasses.
And, of course, Nicolas also takes the time to keep up to date with what’s new in the world of drums!
Nicolas first contacted us about Instagram.
Passionate about DAW software and new technologies, he immediately saw, through Senstroke sensors, a product that met his needs.
Indeed, you will have noticed that our ambassador is hyperactive: it would be unthinkable for him to remain standing still.
He has therefore found, thanks to Senstroke, a way to keep himself busy during long trips, to relax while practicing his favorite instrument.
Nicolas also immediately considered the pedagogical aspect of the sensors: he can’t wait to be able to use them during a Masterclass!
Senstroke is, according to Nicolas, an obvious complementary tool for any drummer, beginner or experienced.
It is an innovation that allows every drummer to be able to adapt to their environment in a complete and playful way. Senstroke makes it possible to play anywhere, anytime, and to record as soon as possible directly in the application, or with any DAW software.
Our partner also highlights the importance of the necessary open-mindedness when using Senstroke: “Just like triggers for a metal drum kit, Senstroke sensors should be supported as a logical evolution of drum practice, and not as an attempt to replace the original instrument”.
” Senstroke opens up new opportunities for any drummer who wants to adapt to a new environment, and allows you to push your creativity even further! “
